People are speculating out their butt with the order in question, cherry picking and not understanding what they are reading. Basically All Armed Forces Reserves can be activated to assist local civil authorities ( PD’s, EMS, etc) during a national emergency/disaster. Normally that’s the job of the National Guard. With the ever increasing need for manpower during a crisis, it would deem this the main reason. Not only has the earth been kicking our butt the last few years with natural disasters, we have the possibility of civil discourse increasing substantially. ( insert any of many for that)
I can see the need for it on many levels as EMS, PD’s and NG resources can be stretched during a prolonged emergency, especially if needed in many different areas at the same time. But, many are putting out shit info to embellish an order and then put their speculation out as truth.
