Support Cancer? An observation ...
I went into the city yesterday, and it was an overcast cool day, the first after a week of 100 degree temperatures and being named the hottest spot in the nation. There were a surprising number of rallies and walks going on, and I knew they were grateful for the change of weather.

At a red light there was a motorcycle next to us, and as the light changed the man pulled ahead and I was reading his t-shirt, figuring he was off to some rally since it seemed to be the day for them. This t-shirt was for cancer awareness, and had a square design on the back with a scattering of key words written in difference fonts and sizes, and as he pulled ahead the message I received was “Support Cancer” “Cure Hope”. What the fuck? Did anyone even look at the design before approving it, or is this the message we’re supposed to accept?

And I can’t count the number of times I’ve been asked in a cashier’s line if I want to support breast cancer or >insert name here < cancer. I know they are supposed to be asking about supporting cancer awareness or research, but as I’m their hundredth customer of the day is has been shortened into, “Would you like to donate to support breast cancer?” And I respond, “No, thank you.”

Luckily I don’t watch TV, and haven’t for years, so I don’t get the “you’re gonna get cancer” message drummed into my head everyday, but I wonder how often the word cancer is mentioned on TV, and how much the lingo has changed. Words are powerful, and these messages seem to be about just accepting cancer as another stage of life.

Anyone else notice the subtle changes in the messages?

Yes there's definitely something off about the whole cancer thing.

We should all demand that the cure be found/released.

Yes! And of course there are now cancer centers every where.

The city I'm closest to has a huge medical complex/school, and I've watched it grow and grow the last couple decades.

Agree with op's observation.

Years ago Cancer awareness has taken over the month of October & the color pink. My son played football & the team was asked to wear pink socks. HELL NO. My son never wore pink socks.

I do not support this mindless following that is so evident today.

Ah now we're really thinking!

Isn't it great how these organizations have taken the focus off of a cure and turned it into a profitable business that only focuses on pulling people into their organizations who have cancer so they can all talk about how they have cancer together?

Meanwhile...decades go by...

POTUS is going to reveal all these "cures" soon. Don't ever donate to a cancer research organization. One of the biggest scams ever. Right up there with the Red Cross. Of course big Pharma is the "top dog" in this area. I think almost all of CONgress is heavily invested in the pharma industry.

We all have such incentive to pray God protects this man (POTUS). He truly does have our best interest at heart.

Re: Support Cancer? An observation ...
I too do Not watch TV. It is MINDLESS PROGRAMMING for the masses to keep them complying, buying, distracted & sedated.

Commercials are programming your subconscious to create.

Your subconscious makes no value judgements.

Even if you think you did not hear said commercial, your subconscious hears/sees way more that you can acknowledge.

One must NEGATE the programming of the subconscious, just state DON'T BELIEVE IT, DON'T CREATE IT, DON'T RECEIVE IT.

Even in grocery stores I have heard commercials with statistics for Shingles.

Edward Bernays, father of spin, in 1929 had women/feminists call cigarettes TORCHES OF FREEDOM. This branding promoted females smoking.

If TPTB knew how to manipulate the masses in 1929, how much more do TPTB know how to manipulate us today?

This goes way beyond mere subliminal programming & neurolinguistic programming & peer group pressure.

Notice that is is trendy now to survive cancer, and doctors know this, and take advantage. I has become a badge of honor. If they look hard enough, they will find a mutated cell somewhere within the organism and scare the crap out of you. Bye to medical insurance, and a sizable part of your life savings.

If they cared for women, they would "support lung cancer," as THAT kills many more women than breast cancer. They chose breast cancer since so relatively few men get it in comparison.

Charities and foundations are constructed mainly for the benefit of those that administer, and to provide tax shelters and launder money. There is some nominal requirement to do charity work, but doubt that 20% of donations reaches those in need. As an example that is easily researched, ask around and find out what the blood centers charge the insurance and patients for a unit of a blood component. They guilt people to donate for free, then they make bank for all of the administrative salaries, which are substantial.

The cure is not going to "be found".

Cancer is a multi-factor condition that can be prevented.

#1. Its begins with sub-clinical uncontrolled diabetes/insulin resistance. Cancer cells need elevated and constant doses of blood glucose.

#2. Its encouraged by severe mineral and vitamin deficiencies (like vitamin D, C, B12, zinc, and sodium) in the body.

#3. Its pushed over the edge with contaminants in the food (like MSG, synthetic sugars, glyphosates, etc), and being exposed to elevated doses of folic acid in all enriched foods.

The "cure" will never be found. Because there is no cure.

The cancer problem is a society issue. Its a corrupt food industry issue.

Treatments are never finished up, there are follow-up doctor visits periodically, and when they have allowed your funds to replenish, then they find something again. You are never free from cancer or cancer treatment once it starts.

I have prostate cancer. It was not caught in time so I am effectively castrated and I have to wear a diaper. I've gone through surgery and radiation and I'm a walking miracle. Fuck yes I'm tougher than you. I don't like the pink ribbons either. I'm partial to the few blue ones out there. 1 in 2 people will get some form of cancer in their lifetime. Wouldn't it be nice to feel that support when you face the fight of your life?

Dumb people dont know what it means.

It's symbolism for "time's up". In other words, their time is up. Bells rung in old clocks indicating the hour is done.

In religions, bells are rung to communicate to spirits or holy powers that someone was crossing over.
