I had the opportunity to meet him in person once. Seemed like a good guy. Too bad he was lousy as a president.

He is a horrid piece of filth and we are stiff suffering from his terrible decisions like OPEC and moving oil production to saudi arabia to fund the mujeheed. His failures are too numerous and the deaths worldwide he caused are still piling up.

True. The leftwing over 30 years ago hadn't yet shitted up so many aspects of America, including even the Democrat Party.

However, Carter is fairly leftwing himself. But he was forced to live within the narrower confines of a nation in the past that still had closer ties to sanity and humanity.

Today the leftwing has trashed the US from A to Z, so much so that even a liberal like Carter from the olden days doesn't seem quite so crappy.

So many of our current foreign, economic, and trade policies that have strangled this country over the past forty years were started during Carter’s presidency. Our Middle East policy, for example, was largely impacted by the decisions made by his administration.

Democrats have always been degenerate, treasonous shitheads. The difference today is they commit their crimes out in the open with no fear of retribution or punishment.

I still remember his speech on TV about morals, honesty and greed. He lectured all of us to be better people. I think he was talking mostly to the greedy corporations. It was July of 1979. No other president made such a passionate speech to Americans to be better people, have good character and moral standards and help one another.

The deep state didn't like Jimmy Carter so he got the rap for "high interest rates" and "the helicopter crash during the Iran hostage rescue attempt". Both were not his fault. Jimmy Carter is one of the kindest most humane presidents this country has ever had. And that's good enough for me.

With that said I am mortally afraid of what might happen to this country is Biden, Warren or Sanders steals the election.

I met him in person when I was young at a church in georgia. He was a pretty decent guy not like the evil sobs we had the last few years (obama, bush's, Clinton). I hope he's doing well but it looks like age is catching up to him as it will do to us all.
