The footage coming out of these is insane. But an island inhabited only by cats is sorely threatened. "Okishima, one of Japan’s many cat islands, is also in the line of fire. Cats are survivors. Except during the middle ages when hoomans thought they were the harbingers of the black death. Turns out hoomans killing cats made it worse. The cats culled the rat infestations, without cats the rats ran rampant. Stupid hoomans. 4 feral cats have made me part of their family here. It took about a month, but now they even let me pet them.
