The say "due to the high winds forecasted certain area's (insert your town or county) are likely to lose power. Maybe several days of power lost. This will help stop devestating fires. Always be prepared for power outages.

So basically the electric company's are telling everyone "your on your fucking own and if you don't have solar or a generator your fucked, but don't blame us because we warned you it was coming". That's where we are now with Liberal Dems in charge of utilities.
