Yes last time they did not shut down power and the winds came towns burned down and lives lost  They've had Santa Ana winds in CA since - forever. Never needed to shut power to prevent fires from Santa Ana winds before..... I don't believe it's an "innocent" thing....to "protect lives and property." NOPE.
