Here is a map of the possible areas that could face a power shutoff. They are remote, rural and rugged areas. [ link to www.sfgate.com (secure)] Cities, per se, are not affected. Some parts of San Jose are rural. I've read that, at most, 600,000 people could be affected. your map doesn't fit the article.also it states more than 600,000. the potential is there for more. couple notes from the article. SanJose recommends getting masks,like u use for an ebola outbreak.this on their own checklist. that is scarey by itself. some of the cities state their power will b off til the next day. some say longer and those times vary.there is no uniform consensus as to how ong the outage will last.however they all seem to say they ARE being shut down at midnight Wed. other5 areas do state they MAY go down as well. there is no mayb to this. tomorrow night at midnight POOF,or click if u prefer. what bothers me is how they say it could b out for days. why? if u shut it off, just turn it back on.it could have said unless there are problems. it does not. i have no logical explanation for that. conspiracy theories all around. This whole thread is just more hype. Every few days there's a fucking phony panic about something new.
