Yes last time they did not shut down power and the winds came towns burned down and lives lost  They've had Santa Ana winds in CA since - forever. Never needed to shut power to prevent fires from Santa Ana winds before..... I don't believe it's an "innocent" thing....to "protect lives and property." NOPE. PG&E is being held legally liable for fires caused by down lines. This is their solution. problem-reaction-solution That's why they were found responsible for the DEW fires.
