I am in that area, our well runs on electric, we had a PGE BS fiasco lat week for two days no power it was screwed. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76130010 Since when did the American Government allow Rothschilds to control the power grid preemptively? What a crock, I'm outta here, California has gotten on my last nerve, Fucking Rothschilds, Pelosi, Senator Pan fucker, Adam Schitt and pretty face Newsom I hope you all have fun with the disaster area you have made of my once fair state... Last year whole cities burnt down and the fire moved so fast that people didn't have enough warning time to escape. I'm guessing you weren't impacted by it or you probably wouldn't be complaining about going without power for 5-7 days to prevent another catastrophe. Very small price to pay in comparison. Like one vs infinity. But the absence of power will create many other potential ignition points for fires... outdoor cooking, campfires, generators running, the lack of pressurized water to contain a small fire, etc. Add to this the bad actors that might realize that overwhelmed police might not respond quickly to a little old-fashioned arson. At least in those cases the fires would start in cities and firefighters would be able to respond quicker, rather than a fire randomly breaking out somewhere in thousands of square miles of wilderness as happened numerous times last year. |

Many (perhaps most) of the affected homes and businesses are in rural Northern California. |

The sun will eventually shut off the power with a small flare or nova...better get used to it now. Maybe they know this is coming sooner than later and they want to wean us off the power slowly and get people used to it. |

Does anyone else think this is to make Trump look bad to his supporters in Northern California? Democrats are getting backed into a corner and like snakes are biting blindly. Quoting: Grandma9 PG&E cut off the power because. PG&E reaches $11 billion settlement relating to wildfire claims relating to 2017 and 2018 wildfires. The company said these claims were based on payments made by insurance companies to individuals and businesses with insurance coverage for wildfire damages. In January, PG&E filed for bankruptcy protection and faced up to $30 billion in fire liabilities shortly after its power lines sparked what became California's deadliest wildfire yet last fall. |

The difference is, if you set your house on fire cooking with candles it's not PG&E fault and you can't sue them for 30 billion dollars. |

You've bought the propaganda book line and sinker - or know better and are just infecting minds with the same ridiculous lie |

My beautiful dream home and gardens, and lifetimes of memories, and my entire life's work, my animals, and all of my families personal treasures. I wasn't home at the time, had I been I would not be responding to your crap retort. My large one of a kind art piece wooden home was ignited and burned in 15 min from the start, I likely would have died or been burned badly as were the young couple who tried to take refuge on my driveway in an escape attempt. I am complaining because the well being of the Rothschild Holdings takes precedence to the well being of the people, in the millions at this point. You have no idea what they are up to and when it comes your way, complain away, and remember I told you so. |

Numerous California Cities Warned Power May be SHUT OFF for 5 Days - Possibly Up to 7 Days - THE PURGE? Quoting: dr0id SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Several cities in the Bay Area are likely to be impacted by PG&E’s Public Safety Power Shutoffs this week, including parts of Napa, Contra Costa and Alameda counties. San Jose — Mayor Sam Liccardo said residents and business in east and south San Jose should prepare to be without power for up to seven days. [link to www.kron4.com (secure)] I'm local to the area, Worship Jesus Christ, and a fan of Trump and guns. I am in a rural area that is affected by this power outage. But " a country boy can survive" Our biggest challenge, is stock water for our animals. They drink alot. And this time of year, all the ponds and creeks are dry so we rely on our wells to pump water for them. We're hanging tough so far....... [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] |

Lots of blame to go around for this debacle. It's almost like this is a grand scheme: blame an easy scapegoat who should be culpable to some extent, but not all when the arson and DEW aspect of these fires were never part of any lawsuit -- it all fell on PG@E. But the suits still got their bonuses, what do they care if the company goes belly up or gets cut up? Tough not to be a cynic these days. |
