When you hate it. And you hate yourself for it. Show yourself some compassion and mercy and realize this earth is shit. Dark dark dead world but we have to live in it. So do good and treat others with respect and definetly treat yourself with respect. If it’s time to quit. Great! Take it one day at a time . When you are ready you will do it. But it is a mental battle. You have to have a strong mind . Stay focused!

Outstanding OP! 4 years for me now.

The first two weeks are the hardest then it gets a lot easier. I couldn't trust myself with beer and needing to smoke with beer so I kicked beer for the first few weeks too.

After a few months you can go out and get drunk and party and not even THINK about a cigarette.

Now THATS cool!
