It could be caused by one ingredient like gluten, the protein in starches. It could be caused by cruciferous vegetables. Get tested. MOST IMPORTANTLY Stop smoking, cut out soda, get a full night of sleep, walk 2 miles a day and don't overeat. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78020158 I have never attributed it to not sleeping well. Makes sense, as I do suffer from insomnia quite often. You are literally describing me prior to quitting gluten dairy and caffeine. Cutting out caffeine will also make you sleep at night and get a full rest. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77837750 Then you can begin to deal with your multiple food allergies. An elimination diet won't help at all if your immune system is reacting to everything. Once a day, after breakfast or dinner, take these: 50 mg Zinc A quality Vitamin-B complex Magnesium Molybdenum Sodium ascorbate (5,000 mg): best form of vitamin C Take this every day for 3 months, then go bavk and get blood allergy-tested. Your sensitivities should drop a bit by then. Keep going until you can see, by the test numbers, that your immune system is healed. Keep up with the digestive enzymes and orobiotics, though, to make sure you don't relapse. This is excellent advice. Also do not mix carbs and proteins in the same meal. For example don’t eat bread/pasta and meat together. eat bread and vegetables together or meat and vegetables together at the same meal. |

I had indigestion so bad I thought I was having a heart attack. Eat simple - no dairy, wheat, or refined sugars. Also, be careful with thick meat cuts like steak, pork, and chicken. Go with thin cuts from the deli if you need to eat meat. Avoid caffeine and acid foods like tomato, grapefruit etc. Stop eating 3 to 4 hours before bedtime. Go to an allergist and get your blood tested, you may be ingesting foods you're allergic to and that will give you all sorts of issues and inflammation. I've used baking soda, it works. Try to stay off the prescribed drugs, they have long term effects Mylanta helps too in a pinch. |

I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |

Half the time I just skip meals to avoid the gut wrenching pain felt in my solar plexus and radiating around my heart/chest. Quoting: uhhuh I have been told I have a food allergy to most foods. Spicy or plain- doesn't matter. Help! Stressed out! Find a nutritionist that can help you. Low vitamin C can cause gut problems, one out of hundreds of causes. |

OP should see a doctor. |

You need to be scoped to determine what is going on. If no ulcers, the probiotics like Kefer can really help. If ulcers, look to Tagamet as an excellent go to. Ulcers will heal in a few weeks, and you may never have the problem again. This was the case in my situation. I had two duodenal ulcers that made me feel like I was having heart arrhythmia. |
