Memory is in the brain. When it dies your memories die
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77082108 this idea though, can somewhat be fairly easily challenged. if a chicken fucks a chicken. the offspring will possess vast instinctual knowledge, the consciousness of the parents. instincts are memories obviously this did not exist in the brain but in the germ, the seed, the sperm, and the egg. to say that all memories of the parent, exist in the egg or sperm. in the genetics. and forms the memories/instincts in the offspring i don't really remember anything of my parents life, no specific memories, nothing was transferred. certain characteristics, maybe the body itself is really just memory. matter but matter constructed from the memory of the germ cells
