Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76948125 Because they don't wanna be, they know what it is... PS: They value their sovereignty way too much. They're watching Brexit & said 'no thanks' Japan’s EU deal ‘threatens post-Brexit UK industry’ Japan is heavy business with the Europe Union. If Japan were to stop business in Europe many people in Europe would be on the street. If the EU allows the Japan trade agreement why are they not in the EU? United Kingdom left the EU, guess who's active in the EU? Japan! Japan threat to British industry because Japan does trade with the EU and the UK left the EU in the wake of Nissan’s decision to backtrack on expanding its Sunderland plant. The risk is that the free trade agreement between the EU and Japan plus the uncertainty about the relationship between the UK and the EU will mean that the Japanese will ship things to the European and cut Britain out of the loop. |

Other companies, such as robot maker Yaskawa Electric, are choosing sites in continental Europe for new operations to stay close to European customers if Brexit creates trade hurdles. |

We have to get rid of corporate gov, not expanding it. Trading should be different from cattle migration. We people are being considered corporations. That's why migration is so awesome. It makes the economy grow. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78064138 Japan was in world war 2 an ally with Germany. Japan is also a 1st world nation today. A Japanese woman has light skin tone even paint her face white with makeup. Also many Japanese go to France and elsewhere to participate in EU activities an Business. Japan doesn't get along with China either. Why would Japan join some Globalist Cult scam? |

Sweden in the EU is far away from France. Japan does heavy business with the EU and are not even in it, yes Japan is far to. Your basically saying everyone in the EU must be close to France to qualify for EU membership. Very stupid thinking. If this were correct by your thinking Ireland and Sweden should not be in the EU. |

Its about geography. Ireland and Sweden are islands DIRECTLY off of the European Continent. Japan is on a literally different continent all together thousands of miles away. And yes, the EU makes it a stipulation that you have to be on the European continent or the surrounding islands to be able to join. |

And yes, the EU makes it a stipulation that you have to be on the European continent or the surrounding islands to be able to join. Japan far away has European history. Yes the geography is different. It's an island nation in the east Asia. Portugal and Japan started their first affiliation in 1543, making the Portuguese the first Europeans to reach Japan by landing in the southern archipelago of Japan. Japan has a policy of isolation Today Japan continues the best trade with the EU Now take a look at this... The USA military this month will return to Japan's government more than 9,800 acres of land it has held since World War II, Secretary of Defense Ash Carter said Tuesday. ... The US had turned most of Okinawa over to Japan in 1972 after controlling it from the end of World War II in 1945 Japan is not allowed to have offensive military forces. Its Article 9 declares "the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes". Japanese Constitution not only forbids the use of force as a means to settling international disputes but also forbids Japan from maintaining an army, navy or air force. Japan provided free financial support for U.S. American basing (effectively outsourcing its own national defense) and moved rapidly from an import substitution economy to that of an industrial Japan held discussion with American President Donald Trump about trade frictions. |
