It drinks up the pesticide from the fields. Consumer Reports outed this dirty little fact. Also AUTOPHAGY - please write that down and research Your body cleans up and sweeps out the junk cells if you FAST for a period of hours - because the cells aren’t BUSY processing food - more food- more food - damn it never stops for some people Intermittent Fastingn is a SURVIVAL technique - repairs the body during down time for feeding - nourishes better when food arrives It was so refreshing to find out I could skip Meals whenever I wanted - eat one meal a day - and have MORE ENERGY doing it ! Then you won’t panic when the meals look sparse - you can survive and thrive |

Protien carbs vitamins and minerals but you have to use yor water supply to cook it. Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then. If the more I know, the more I know I don’t know, then do I truly know what I know because I know I don’t? You cannot reach a correct conclusion if you begin with an incorrect assumption |

Most honey is primarily corn syrup. Dried beans will take a lot of fuel and water to cook through after extended storage and they will still be chewy. Water is going to be at a premium in any survival scenario. As someone else mentioned, rice is full of pesticide garbage. Any product that contains an oil, such as the wheat products mentioned, can have its oil go rancid. Coffee may taste fine forever, but tea does not. It gets bitter and harsh. Most of the powdered milk I've ever had has had a rancid smell and taste to it. I've been buying a specific version of that Nido stuff instead of Carnation because it is way cheaper. Don't buy store brand dehydrated milk products. If you can find canned peanut butter, that is a decent several year alternative that is loaded with calories and protein. It has to be truly canned though, not some peal top. It might get a bit boring but you can spice it up more than you think. Last, but never least, stock up on dried spices that have decent shelf lives. You probably need to give herbs a miss because they don't last nearly as long as most spices do. A little flavor can really take the edge of off a crisis. I bought 5 pounds of habanero powder years ago and it still goes into my dishes and produces heat and flavor today. Black pepper is a number one to keep, right after salt. Speaking of the habanero powder, hot sauces like Tabasco last a long time under any storage method due to having high quantities of vinegar and can make some less than savory foods at least edible. |

User ID: 78065512 United States 10/08/2019 08:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Dry pasta lasts almost forever...peanutbutter is great! All the proteins, fats & carbs a growing boy needs, no cooking or frigitation! I pulled out a plastic jar of jif (unopened) that was 5 years beyond it's expiration date...it was perfect! Ate the whole jar (but not at one time). If I am going to be damned...I am going to be damned for who I really am! |
