I'm in Calaveras County. No power for about four hours now. Cell phones stopped working shortly after power went out. Cell towers must have run out of juice.

We had multiple warnings of when the power was to go out:
10pm last night
12 pm last night
Noon today. Then changed to 8pm. Then rumor was that if power hadn't gone out then it wouldn't be shut off here. Then.... it went out around 4.

The PGE website has inaccessible most of the last 24 hours. So we've been trying to get our own info off various news sites.

When I called Att yesterday to ask if cell service would work during shutdown they said "they didn't know and were looking into it."

This whole thing has been super disorganized. What a circus.

Now...we don't know if power will come back on tomorrow....or Sunday. There are conflicting reports all over online.

Btw... other than a few gusts of wind earlier.

There has been NO wind. Not even a gentle breeze right now.
