Why should the US provide air cover for communists who just threatened to release thousands of ISIS fighters from prison? Maybe the US should provide air cover for our actual NATO ally Turkey? The best thing the US can do is leave the Middle East entirely.

The Kurds are fucked because they won’t live within the borders of these 2 countries. That’s not the US fault. If they don’t want to exist within another country that is their problem. Just because they assisted the USA in destroying ISIS isn’t some reason to fix their current limbo. They need to get along within Syria or Turkey. That’s not our problem.
