I just spoke to a distraught US Special Forces soldier who is among the 1000 or so US troops in Syria tonight who is serving alongside the SDF Kurdish forces. It was one of the hardest phone calls I have ever taken. "I am ashamed for the first time in my career." [ link to twitter.com (secure)] The soldier needs to shut up and follow orders!! And how the hell would you know what his orders are? I order you to shutup, fool. Too many people just doing what they're told instead of takeing the moral high ground. And this is the main problem with all of human history The whole thread is about pulling back from positions, so we know his orders. I can tell you've never been in the military. You want a military full of people questioning their orders.
