My father, God rest his soul, died when I was 12 but took me camping, fishing, & enrolled me in Cub Scouts to learn these basics. If SHTF, these people are gonna be helpless. Who knew "The Walking Dead" was a survival training module? You do not need to be a cub scout to learn that stuff. I got my son into cub scouts, and his den leader during a pack meeting about badges said “this is the Illuminati”. He was referring to the purple/white rope badge that is required on all uniforms since 1999, the “World Crest” patch. Nobody batted an eye...
