Under cover cops selling drugs to known addicts can now be sued for furthering addiction.
Under cover cops selling drugs to known addicts can now be sued for furthering addiction. Major court decision was just handed down. Waiting to see how much money the officer and the police force are on the hook for.
Also if the addict dies from an overdose sold by an undercover cop, the cop gets manslaughter.

Ok. Where OP. Because in NY, thats a crock of shit. You are aware different countries (your flag says Canada) have different laws. And then when you get to America the drug laws literally change state to state city to city.

So where is this law in effect?

California.
By the way. Court in Canada and the U.S. use each other decisions to set precedents in future court cases.

The world is moving towards Portugal's drug policy.

Cops can't set people up anymore just to steal property under proceeds of crime, turns out their is more money to be made by the State/Province treating the root cause of addiction instead of cops stealing poor peoples property.

Good. That’s the same logic of someone suing a company before they even get a chance to slip and fall on their fat ass.

If you are in court and happen trap the judge with question he /she doesn't want to answer, they like suggest a psychiatric evaluation.
That's when you ask the judge if they practicing medicne without a licence. Ask where they got degree in psychology.

That is so blatantly illegal, any Judge doing that should be removed form the bench asap.

Yet oddly, the 49 other states dont seem to follow Cali's logic. So stipulations must be made. This is happening in California. Not the rest of America.

Do you want your child who made a bad choice and dies from an over dose sold to them by an undercover cop whose department just wants to seize their car for a quick a quick cash grab so they can drive around in $10000 dollar SUV's to hand out traffic tickets?

I would just be happy if they got the same sentences and where subject to the same laws as the resat of us.

charge them for the same crimes just like the rest of us you know, "All men are created equal" kind of shit they always talked about.

put a few of these scumbags z(all of them are scumbags) in jail with the rest of criminals, charge them convict them and see how fast the pigs start acting right and minding their "P's" and "Q's".

have a few of them get offed in a cell by inmates and see how fast they start acting right, I mean without other pigs protecting them or the court systems protecting them maybe we would have a real police force one that knows if they commit a crime they get the same punishment. It will never happen so we are left defending ourselves, with force now hopefully, maybe we can get a few of these pigs and things may get better but probably not.

oh and fuck pigs ACAB!

It never set well with me, for law enforcement to break the law, in order to enforce the law.
