OH MY GOD what in the HELL? When are people going to say enough of this shit, and who even takes a job under those circumstamces? the Gov is just assuming someone earns 10% per customer served? This is why almost everyone now is cheating stealing lying or doing something to supplement their income. Is anyone here really interested in freedom? Parties over 6 should always be charged 18% right on the check. It saves everybody a ton of BS. If the customer wants to leave more they can. I am a very heavy tipper. Screw me over once, and I move on to the next place, I don't come back. |

I used to be black. Then I caught vitiligo (thank God) and figured fuck it I might as well bleach. Now I get white privilege checks in the mail twice a month and am an excellent tipper |

However, When it comes to a wedding party it can be hit or miss regardless of race etc so the manager should always have a policy in place that gratuity is added for a party of 8 or more. My wife is a server and did a wedding last night as well. A 18% tip was added to the bill... She did get paid and is why she works at the restaurant she does as she would run into no tip wedding parties at her last place off employment. IMO, your situation was caused from a short sighted manager as the tip should have been included in the bill. |

So every penny of their $2.50 hourly wage goes to pay taxes. Lets say you have a bill for $30.00, 3 bucks is taken out of your check in taxes. So if the customer doesn't get a tip, they actually lose $3.00 waiting on you thats a load of bullshit stop lieing to everyone |
