A federal judge blocked a Trump administration rule just days before it was due to go into effect and make it harder for low-income migrants to obtain green cards, dealing a serious blow to the president’s immigration agenda.

New York federal Judge George Daniels on Friday issued a preliminary injunction against the Trump administration’s “public charge” rule, which takes into account a foreign national’s use of government benefits when they apply to live in the U.S. on a more permanent standing.

Daniels — who was appointed to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York by President Bill Clinton — ruled that the White House likely overstepped its authority when it moved to expand the public charge guidelines.

“In short, defendants do not articulate why they are changing the public charge definition, why this new definition is needed now, or why the definition set forth in the rule — which has absolutely no support in the history of U.S. immigration law — is reasonable,” Daniels wrote in a 24-page order.

I think it's pretty clear that we've been living in the time of judges.

It's not about being heartless. In fact it's heartless to allow even more low skilled people in this country because we have way more than enough already.

Do you understand why janitors are paid shit and you are paid well? It's because there are tons of people out there that can push a broom but not a ton of people out there that can argue a court case.

So the only way to pay the working poor a livable wage is too restrict the amount of people in the workforce so that employers have to compete for employees. When this happens your average wage goes up so that the working poor benefits. But if you are a bleeding heart liberal and you allow anyone and everyone over the border then the wages tank because you have an army of poor unskilled workers that are willing to do the work for cheaper.

So it comes down to do you have a heart for the American worker or do you toss them out and say fuck them for some illegal alien that contributes absolutely nothing to society except high crime and social problems.
