Future Technology War or Massacre

As technology progresses it starts innocuous and slowly becomes un fathomable to live without for most people.. also usually revealed that it isn’t the healthiest thing for people and also slowly eroded at personal privacy and individualism.

As it stands today it is fine you still have a choice if you want to participate or not. But coming very soon is a revolutionary technology.. that half not more than half will want to take part in.. and the other humans will want to stay human and not participate.. it will be very easy to distinguish which humans want the technology and which do not by simply visually looking st them.

But here is the problem it is radioactive and regular humans cannot live with these digitized hive minded radioactive cyborg hybrids... ok give them their own city you say.. when they begin to aggressively reproduce and transform all matter around them into compute devices it becomes clear we need to try to pursuance them and appeal to what humanity they have left.. but they will begin to kill as they are now a different species and humans will be hunted as the only known contender to the new apex technology predator race.
