Extra terrestrial communications.

If you want to communicate with extra solar beings, just listen and «speak» to the sun using magnetic field using man made fluctuations. They are using a signal embedded into galactic magnetic flux. The headers are not coded and are kinda geolocating/routing the message, but the core is crypted.

To detect those signals, you need multiple variable frequency filters, a big dish and a big computer farms.
