You probably shell out 400 bucks to go see some lameass pussy shit at Coachella, but they won't be talking about it 50 years from now. Also, the Hells Angels were way out of line, but Meredith Hunter pulled a gun and got what was coming. Especially if he fired a shot at the stage like some people reported. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 86177488 United States 12/06/2023 10:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Epic movie. On the VHS, they had the original audio mix in crisp Hi-Fi Stereo. Audio had originally been done on a tube (valve) mixer, which put a grit and a growl to the guitars that just fit everything perfectly. A few years later, the movie was released on DVD. Along with a brand new digital remix of the audio. With this digital remix, they succeeded in removing every trace of tube from the audio. Why does this matter? Imagine if the Jimi Hendrix Woodstock concert had been remixed and edited in such a way to remove every trace of feedback. It would be insulting to any Hendrix fan. That's basically exactly what they did to this movie. Had they at least included the original mix as a secondary audio track on the DVD, it would have been perfect. But nope. It's practically unlistenable with the new mix. Did they at least put the original mix as a secondary audio track on the bluray? Nope. Anyone who's ever watched this movie with the digital remix is really missing out and has been cheated. |
