The system is broken because of parents who feel their child is being discriminated against and not getting the full educational fulfillment.
Little do they know, their little Johnny, with who has the mental capacity of a 3 yr old will never comprehend 8th grade algebra or 4th grade division. They'll be lucky to fold boxes at a wearhouse. But unfortunately they sue schools so their child has multiple aides and support.
When that child acts out and disrupts the educational process and you call to discuss, they want to know who started on him/her and what did someone do to provoke.
When you tell them, nothing, they want to know how we are going to punish the other kid for bullying?
Schools keep kids in those classroom because its cheaper to hire an aide at 12.00 or less vs paying an alternative school and bussing over 80k for a school yr.
Its a freaking nightmare.
