If you think you have a trespasser outside in the middle of the night, don’t put yourself in full view in front of a window as you look outside. Turn off the light and sneak a peak around the edge of the window, like in the movies. Don’t make yourself an easy target. Similar thing happened with a man in his front hallway looking out the front door window, shot by the cop who was outside having arrived for a welfare check. I wonder how that case turned out.

This wasn't the first cop that killed the homeowner while sneaking around their backyard at 2am. Strange as it might sound, Some homeowners have a gun when they investigate strange sounds at 2am, which this one didn't. We all know the fright that a cop has when seeing a civilian with a gun. She never heard him. She had the fans going. She was inside her house. she had the tv on. she was hard of hearing. It was light inside the house and dark outside and she couldn't even see the cop. She had no idea why she had a sudden massive pain in her heart as the bullet went in. It was Manslaughter. She was just one of Three people killed by US police that day. Happily, all three cops went home to their families that night.
