Snopes was created by two mass email spammers. They created the spam and then created Snopes to "fact-check" their own BS. It was simply a tool to track the email circulation. I am pretty sure they were initially funded by an alphabet agency to look non-partisan. (The Mikkelsons were big supporters of the Democratic Party.)

The Mikkelsons and I were members of a Usenet group in the late 90s-early 2000. They were horrid people: mean, always playing the victim, and twisting everyone's words into a different meaning.

By the time 9-11 occurred, I was already well aware that they were the owners of Snopes and I called them out on their BS hit piece on their site that substituted the word "Jewish" for "Israel". (I miss the Usenet, where you could not be banned for telling the truth.) I mentioned Israel's potential role in 9-11 and Barbara immediately called me an anti-Semite. I retorted that Semites speak Hebrew and Arabic and "semitism" had nothing to do with religion or race and that I was calling out the Israeli government, not the Israeli people. Barbara went off, trying to debunk me by claiming that she was Jewish, so where were her millions of dollars and Jewish privilege? Pretty much how Snopes operates.

I left the group after the start of the second war against Iraq because the majority of posters were all pro-war "liberals" incapable of rational discussion and who didn't give a shit about the 500,000 who died in Fallujah. I showed her the Spanish Red Cross reports of the dead (since disappeared down the memory hole), reports of White Phosphorous used in Fallujah, and the 1100 Iraqi "intelligentsia" murdered by Blackwater mercenaries, and instead that piece of garbage defended the war crimes and claimed that my "facts" (documented with links to undisputed sources) were irrelevant because I was an "anti-Semite" for calling out Israel's bullshit. The group was dominated by David and Barbara, who did not believe in free speech and would insist on having the last word on every single thread.

I always hoped that they would be exposed, but despite that their main fact checker is a dominatrix and was the mistress of David prior to their divorce, no one seems to care.

All allowable versions of 'liberalism' are based on old testament entitlementism and lack of any respect for anyone else, especially if that anyone else has wealth and liberty the liberals want to steal for their own pleasure.

I don't think I've gone to it since the 1990s when they ran out of urban legends to research.

The entire purpose of the desert wars is to keep the izzies safe and happy on two fronts.
First, they dont have to spend their own money or lives.
Second, they get to watch gentiles destroy and corrupted while their own cultures fall to decay and subversion.
