For shits and giggles, after being disgusted by Jagmeet's selective inclusivity comment in the debate (he was opposed to Max being at the debates because of muh white supremist reasons) and after he said that if the libs get a minority NDP will work with the liberals to prevent the cons from taking power, I called my local MP's office (NDP) and left a message. I said that if they are going to work with the Liberals, there is no good reason to vote NDP, might as well vote Liberal. Told them I'm tired of voting for them anyways and Max will get my vote.

Came home tonight and they actually left me a voice mail, suggesting I have misunderstood what Jag said and inviting me to follow the NDP on Facebook.

I had an experience a few elections ago that proved to me that our elections are not fair, and there are lots of irregularities at the polling stations. Did you know that Elections Canada officials can't legally require proof of citizenship, even though it's requirement number one to be eligible to vote? The reality is that all you need to do is show a drivers license, a piece of mail addressed to you and get someone willing to "vouch" for you. I don't trust the results after that.

And don't vote early!! You need to know that your ballot is in a box being watched at all times by scrutineers, from the time you cast it until it's counted. Do you honestly think someone is watching the box your advance poll ballot is in from now until election day?
