Today I was just browsing around Youtube when I came across a video called "Earth from Space" - 1:54:22 ( [link to youtube.com (secure)] The comments were interesting and also full of those "Flat Earth" trolls. I wrote this comment to illustrate why a Flat Earth is impossible and thought it may be helpful here for those wishing to understand the thing called "gravity" better and why a Flat Earth (or flat anything in space) can't exist naturally.

A short lesson on gravity, and keep an open mind here please. Gravity is not a pulling force. It's a pushing force. Gravity is space pressure. Yes, space has pressure just like air but far more rarefied. Let's ask a question...Why are all normal natural space bodies like stars, moons and planets spherical? All normal space bodies are spherical because they are exposed to the omnidirectional pressure of space (commonly called gravity) which squeezes them into a ball. Anything that is subjected to omnidirectional pressure in a suspended state, as in space, form a spherical shape because it is the most balanced form able to equally withstand omnidirectional pressure. As a simple example, when you squeeze out some water in a zero gravity environment, as in the videos of astronauts aboard the space station, it forms a spherical globule. This demonstrates the principle.

Why do different sized bodies have different gravity levels? The reason why different sized bodies have different nominal gravity levels is because a smaller body (like a moon or planet) has less surface area exposed to the pressure of space than, say, a big star. This is pure gravity alone without taking into account the rotational friction effects against space of a body which intensifies gravity.This principle is exactly the same as the difference between deep ocean water pressure on a large submarine and a tennis ball. The submarine, because of it's larger size, has a larger surface area on which the pressure can act than does the tennis ball so the sub will be crushed harder by water pressure than the tennis ball. This is also how space pressure (gravity) works.

One can also ask the question, If gravity is a magnetic pull force and earth's core is supposedly a solid rotating iron ball magnet (which it isn't but rather a ball of plasma not unlike the sun) pulling things toward it then how can it act upon non-magnetic materials? Shouldn't it then only attract magnetic materials? It doesn't however. It acts omnidirectionally and equally on everything. The question is thus easily resolved when you think of gravity as a pushing force acting from outside instead of a pulling force acting from within.

Space pressure alone is however not enough to keep things together because, although it's the most fundamental force, it's too weak and rarefied, too spread out, to act powerfully enough on it's own at a single point. It does initially help to push elements and help bind them together (in concert with other bonding forces) but an extra force is needed to strengthen the bonds and enhance a body's compression. That force is rotational motion created by an electromagnetic spiralling effect that usually emanates from a body's poles and meets at its center. This rotating motion actually creates friction against space which increases the compressive effects of space pressure. It's not unlike the strong downpressure of air on a fast car. The faster you move the the higher the air resistance becomes, the more intensely you get pushed down and the more energy you thus need to keep moving forward. It's a similar principle with a body rotating against the pressure of space. This is why fast rotating things, regardless of their size, always experiences an increase in g's (gravity force). The faster the body rotates the more intense the effects of the space friction and the higher the pressure on the body becomes.

When viewed from a distance space friction can be seen in action as a planet with an atmosphere would leave some of its atmosphere behind in a faint streaming tail perpendicular to its star's solar wind direction as it moves through space. What else could strip a planet's atmosphere like that if not a frictional force of some kind which in this case would be space itself. It is also a reason why a planet's atmosphere needs to be constantly replenished. The solar wind doesn't affect it as much on a planet with a strong protective magnetic field which largely diverts it around the planet as space pressure does which directly touches a planet as gravity.

Why then doesn't these two combined effects of gravity and the effect of rotation intensifying space friction cause a body to be crushed into a point? It is because a rotating body, due to centrifugal force, creates an outward pressure which counters the compressive force of gravity and the further compressive force generated by rotation against space (centripetal force). When expansive centrifugal force balances out with compressive centripetal force you get a stable body that is capable of withstanding the combined effects of gravity and compressive rotational pressure. This is also why most normal, natural rotating bodies are hollow and not solid. When either of these forces get out of balance a body will either explode or compress to massive, maximum density. It will not implode to a infinite singularity point, also known as a "black hole", which doesn't exist but are actually highly compressed (high gravity) dark bodies. If you should try to enter a "black hole" you wouldn't go to some fantastical realm but just go SPLAT on the dark gravity bodies' surface.

This balanced interaction between centripetal and centrifugal forces are also the reason why space bodies in a solar system and galaxy do not fall inwards towards the center but stay in their balanced orbits around the central points. It is also the reason satellites, and anything else artificial, can stay in orbit if placed at the correct balancing points and travelling at the correct velocity.

As gravity is thus an ambient omnidirectional space pressure field scientists will never discover "gravity waves" (despite such claims) because there are none nor things like graviton particles carrying gravity, although there is the first and primary material particle called the "Ultimaton" (see www.urantiabook.org/archive/readers/ultimatons-electrons-atom​s.htm for a more scientific explanation) ,which is the first and primary particle of matter that gives all other matter weight upon which gravity pressure can then act. Gravity is not something carried on something from somewhere else because it is already an omnidirectional pressure presence everywhere, like the air surrounding you.

Sir Isaac Newton got it wrong. Earth didn't pull the apple onto his head. Earth and space acted together to push it out of the tree and onto his head and thus began a misconception about gravity that still persists today.

The differing color clouds obviously contain different amounts of water. Notice the ones that "appear" to go behind the sun are very light while the ones that do block the sun light are very dark.

I've personally been in airplanes that have flown higher than every cloud in the sky while the sun was obviously still far away. If the sun is literally in the cloud layer as is proposed it should be easy enough to go fly a plane over and video it.

Jeez, the optical illusion is in your head. The less dense clouds can’t create enough contrast for the sensor in the camera to register. Only the thicker (darker) clouds are able to obscure enough light be registered. Your mind then implies the lack of visual cues as an indicator of depth.
