POLL: Best Tv Show episode Ever

TWILIGHT ZONE..very old program..black and white tv picture..color tv was only a dream back then

Guy loved to read..at his job he was too busy to read..when he was home his wife heckle and jeckle him beyond belief..if he did find a chance to read phone would ring..everybody annoyed him..he was never allowed to read a good book.

Finally nuclear war happen and everybody besides him end up dead...so he run down to the city library and get all the books he dreamed of reading...finally I be able to read the books I want to and nobody left on earth to annoy me..he leaves library with many books..happiest man on earth..he stumbles and his glassed fly off his nose and smash on the ground...the lenses are totally cracked..he has no backup pair of glasses...without his glasses he cannot read anything

I voted blank, but if i had 2nd vote it'd be alf like 1/2 of us- you forgot Who Shot Jr on Dallas and a few others hehe!

Awesome show! I have the Dvds and have watched it several times.

TIME ENOUGH AT LAST is the program from TWILIGHT ZONE I remember the most..to me it says..you can dream what you want..but you will never be allowed to have it

Me too. Come the apocalypse I plan on setting up a local tv station and stream Firefly, Serenity, and a whole host of other shows until my DVD player or transmitter gives out.

Ready to go is B5, Dead Like Me, Breaking Bad, one season of American's Test Kitchen, Pysch, some seasons of Big Bang Theory and a ton of movies. We'll be entertained for days in my neck of the woods.

No recycling. When I'm out, that's all there is. Maybe I'll get some other stuff from local enthusiasts to keep going. I doubt it, people suck.

I'm not sure if 'Saturday Night Live' skits should count in a thread about about the best TV episode ever.....but!

If this is not the funniest skit EVER on 'Saturday Night Live' I don't know what is.

This is by-far, the best comedy moment on television.

If you watch closely, the actors are doing their best to not break out laughing. They practiced this skit for a week, but the actual skit went ballistic LIVE on national TV.

The actors had NO idea how incredibly funny and crazy this was about to get. The table crashing...was not planned for in the skit.

Sadly, some of our best comics would get a little 'buzzed' up for 'Saturday Night Live' and they lived life in the fast lane.

This is a tribute to one of our best.......HERE IT IS!

Twilight Zone was a great show. For me the episode I still remember was the Earwig.

But they cancelled it.

Loved that one and the 1st season one with monster scarred me so bad I slept with a light on for weeks

I liked the episode where Mike Brady came home drunk at 3am and ran over the family dog. Then slapped carol when she got in his face over it. Season 3 episode 5 I believe.

Well we've obviously derailed from dear Op's thread, so sorry Hawk

Yah the twilight zone, one step beyond, the outer limits and so many others before Original Star Trek which took up that next task were the golden age of American television. Brilliant and talented.

Maybe that was just a dream. "MIKE STRIKES BACK" I thought it was called.

I was joking earlier but in all seriousness does anyone remember the episode where the sun is shining 24 hours a day and the heat if becoming unbearable. It's a lady living in am apartment. That might have been Alfred Hitchcock. I cant remember.

Revenge of the nerds part two makes a joke about that.

A quick Google search on this subject comes up with a couple of shows that seem to last the test of time.

Now, it's a question of if Youtube has the episodes.

But an episode is a half hour to an hour long.

And sometimes you have to be invested in the show, to really know the characters.

And this is a personal preference thing. For instance, the episode from 'Breaking Bad' where Hank gets killed is probably the most intense television I ever watched...but I was alreadt deeply invested into the story, and if you know nothing of 'Breaking Bad' then a single scene will probably not rank as anything really special.

That said..........
