Now the invasion of Syria by Turkey has been temporarliy halted so that the Kurds can leave the area.

Theyre weren't strong enough to fight against the tanks and planes of Turkey, so the ONLY thing they could do was agree to leave while the invasion was halted to allow them to leave.
