(RNS) Tom Arnold — known to some as "Boner" — was charged Thursday (June 27) after firing a "fake gun in a crowded restaurant" in the middle of a prayer circle for a group supporting President Trump, a news release said.

Arnold was charged with using a firearm in a school zone and disorderly conduct. That's a misdemeanor offense.

"During the incident on June 19, Tom Arnold fired a handgun from his right hip, striking a female who was sitting near the President and the other participants," a news release stated.

Arnold was released on $150 bond, the release said. He declined to comment.

Arnold's Facebook status — which states he went to Harvard University in Cambridge and received a master's degree in journalism — shows him wearing a t-shirt that says "I'm a Nazi, I can do no wrong."

Arnold was identified during a federal investigation of alleged threats targeting Trump during the presidential campaign as a "lone wolf."
