I grew up in Delaware and still live here. I remember the accident. Everyone I know in Delaware thought it was a drunk driver for years until this article came out in 2008. He has ALWAYS been a liar.

I think he was a New Castle County councilman at the time. The sympathy votes catapulted his career.

A lot of semi trucks use Rt 41 which Rt 7 leads to across the Pa line. When I was a kid there in 1972, Rt 7 was mostly 2 lane and hardly any of the dozens of housing developments around the Valley Rd Hokessin area.
