I taste tested it again and it definitely has a nasty strong after taste. Maybe it's a bad batch but if this is the standard for honey, I won't be buying it any longer.

Well...I did put "Mandela effect" in quotation marks. I never implied that this is actually a Mandela effect, just something I found odd.

The taste of honey is as varied as the source flowers, type of bees as well as if the honey is blended or pure.

If you overheat honey it loses some of its properties. Its enzymes, etc. That's always been the case. If you keep heating it up - burning it - you get something like a toffee. Because it's sugar. That's what it does.

It's still okay to put in your tea.

And manuka is mostly hype.

Stevia increases estrogen levels in the body and has been used as a form of birth control. Just because it is is natural, doesn't make it safe. Try taking off the natural chemicals from many plants and you will find yourself dead. Natural doesn't mean good.
