Kurds are no angels. Just look at their actions against the Christians of Hassake in September, 2016 - about the same time that they entered into a non-agression pact with ISIS in that region.

The real split is between Arabia and Iran, aka Persia. Between Arab and Persian.

And once you understand that, you understand it all. The split in Islam is a race war. And with a moment’s thought, you’ll realise that every conflict in the region is a race war: Kurd against Turk, Zionists against everyone else.

It’s got not really about religion, or history, or resources, or territory, its not even primarily about money - startling as that may be. It’s a race war. Sure, they all look the same to you and me, but they can tell the difference. The entire history of the middle east, ten millennia of bloodshed, is a race war. They have been killing one another for an aeon. They are going to keep right on doing it because, sadly, they breed somewhat faster than they can murder.

There will never, never, never be peace in the middle east. Never. Every other nation in the world is well out of it. Fence ’em in and leave ’em to it.

The Neocons and their kosher subordinates who root for endless war need to be slapped in the face by reality - hard. Unfortunately, they for the most part bear no personal burden for their bloodlust and greed, although they consider the deflation of US "Hubris" a personal humiliation.

The days of flight suits and "Mission Accomplished" banners on carrier flight decks are gone for good. The world’s sole hyper-power has been beaten - not once, not twice but at least three times - in Crimea/Eastern Ukraine, in Venezuela and in Syria, and is about to admit defeat in a fourth conflict, i.e., Afghanistan. There are no more regime change cakewalks to be had. We do not "define our own reality." Our alleged invincible military might has reached its limits and has, in many cases, been reduced to pitiful posturing and empty threats.

Trump is right on Syria. Would that he were right with respect to the entire Middle East and Central and East Asia.
