What happens in the video OP?

Well, that's very humane compared to what the Afghans did to captured Russian soldiers. In that corner of the world mutilation, group rape (male and female), prolonged torture and agonizing death are more of a rule than an exception. I've never understood that mentality. I can grasp summary execution of enemy soldiers, but torture is another thing.
