A red is never my friend, even if they happen to be enemies with other reds. But I don't really think that is the case here. What's more likely is that they are pretending to be enemies in order to advance the cause of the red they think has the best chance of going anywhere, to propel that person upward in the communist/democrat party, so that their chicanery against the American people can continue.
