Do you know, I never even realized until last night, checking early returns, that Canada has an "Animal Protection Party??"

Holy Hell, we have a PITA Party?? Who even KNEW about this silliness??

Talk about providing a myriad of ways to waste a vote? Hell, by the time the non-com vote is in and we're back to the polls, we'll probably have a party for every riding in Canada, and the voting card will look like the Burnaby phone book (facepalm.)

It's time to change how Canada votes (and no, NOT letting 8 year olds vote... that's the same as letting an ultra-leftist vote anyways)and get rid of the obfuscation of the current model.

Right now we're reduced to voting in self-defense, voting for whatever person in each riding seems human, and hell with the party. Meaning that we can't vote Turdeau "out," only his party can do that. SO really, we don't elect a leader, we elect a PLATFORM, and are told who will lead it, for all intents and purposes.

That's flat wrong, and a definite "flexing" of a democratic process. I should be able to case a ballot for the PERSON that I want running my country, as WELL Las the party. We have such limited power to select our REPRESENTATIVE, and thus we endure the idiots screaming "YOU VOTED BLACKFACE BACK IN!!!?"

First... I don't think the reported vote is representative of actual ballots passed (make of that what you will) and the process has become a mockery. Second, WE DON'T HAVE THE POWER to vote for our representative. What you have is someone going "I can't affect the outcome of the election one way or another, but maybe I can get help with my <insert personal local issue here> because I have promises from my local Liberal rep, so I guess the only advantage to ME is THAT vote.

And in this way, idiots like our First Lady... err, I mean, Prime Minister... cling to the seat that has been used for nothing but taking power away from Canadians, putting it into the hands of foreign nationals, and removing any safties and societal norms that we have enjoyed for so may years.

I'm sad to see my country turning into a third world shithole, and for the FIRST time I almost did not vote. But even KNOWING my vote is a sham and means nothing, it is STILL my responsibility to this country to TRY to do what I can to make a positive difference.

Too bad none of our politicians, from the PM on down, feel the same way.
