I suspected it was about Iran -- but it was also about their proxies such as Hamas, Hisbollah, and the pro-Iranian militias in Iraq which the Israelis have attacked.

Israel fears that Iran may supply Hamas or Hisbollah with more accurate guided missiles or that it may attack Israel directly as they suspect the Aramco attack was a direct attack by Iran as the Saudis allege.
