sad, it's got to be tough to struggle through things in life.

One wonders if her depression is inherited and just part of who she was transition or not.

If the way she is being treated has led to depression?

If the stress of transition, or even arriving at the other side and fully passing as female has led to depression. The journey is over so to speak, what now?

I think the fact that she is trans many will jump to the conclusion that her depression has to do with her being trans, but the number of women in the United States that deal with depression is actually pretty staggering.

I bet many on here are depressed themselves. It's a hard place to b.

Regardless, I think we can all agree that we hope that she finds inner peace, and leaves the depression far behind.

Transgender hate could lead to depression, and it starts in places like this, so if your worried about the actual health and well being of transgender girls, then listen to what an average trans girls is subjected to, constantly.

So many of these comments sound like remarks made constantly here.

Probably has a lot more to do with "Jazz" being horribly abused starting at age 2 if not earlier.

Um, Harvard, really? Look, it's crazy for any man to want to have periods and have to wear pads after surgeries and have a fake vagina you have to get dilated and any woman could tell you, you must be out of your fucking mind to want to go through even half of what women go through. Should be interesting when that day comes. That said, I find the way they do the surgery to be beyond stupid, as it would make sense to use the glans to create a clitoris, as that is essentially what the clitoris is, a smaller glans.

They have been pumping him with hormone blockers for years. He no doubt has depression due to this unnatural regimen.

She had the trans surgery recently, this summer if I heard right. They don't talk enough about the consequences for some people. She/he will have to take a lot of meds and likely anti depressants as well for life. It's really better for most trans to never have the surgery, just live as a female with bits. A very few need it or are ready for it. It is extremely evasive, you can see it on video. Most surgery patients will experience depression, but cutting your nuts off, wow. You are also then rendered sterile, so you should freeze sperm first, unless you can afford to go with genetic implantation.
