I see it more and more here. I don't really note it IRL, for the most part, but a BIT more than I used to. I even find that I don't have as much patience with dumb on here as I used to.

I won't speak for others, but for me, it's simple stress. I would LOVE to tell a lot of people off IRL some days, but I'm just not made like that. Much like I'd love to stop all of the volunteer work plus helping individuals I do, but I just can't find it in me to walk away - what I do for the town, other people can't do. But it's a lot of work, and on top of my job, and all of MY work owning a home, it's tiring and stressful.

I think a lot of people find themselves in that boat, tired and at the end of their ropes. Then you thow in all of the divisiveness being thrown at us from ALL directions - media, friends, strangers, neighbors, people getting mad about pronouns, about race, about gender and freedom and a host of other crap that has crawled out of the Pandora's box that has been opened in the name of "rights."

I think people are just tooo tired to calmly deal with stupidity anymore, and it's bleeding over into every day interaction. Planned? I won't say it is, but I can't say it isn't. What I CAN say is that they're doing a great job of dividing us, and what do they say about dividing people?

Hmmmm.

Why be civil to those you KNOW are willing to watch you get trampled upon just to save their own skin or remain in relative comfort in their captivity?

Funny I just got home from shopping and looked at glp and found your thread. A typical DWL ...or what I like to call a disingenuous white liberal lady had one look at me and most likely assumed I was a Trump supporter or just a normal conservative person and she came across the aisle and cut me off hard ,...and we were the only 2 in the damn aisle and just had this TOTAL look of disgust on her face ...for no reason at all!
