The thing is - it never happened and such references do not exist. Who remembers the painting? Last Edited by SoaringHawk on 10/31/2019 10:25 PMUncle doom is the best kind of doom |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77497363 It was a large fowl of some sort. And yah this was one of my first. Still a little unnerving. For those of us that are religious or spiritual... ie. God or Buddha or Jesus, etc. Doesn’t it make you scratch your noodle? Why these moments? Patterns? |

Why would they do an official royal portrait of a king holding a piece of meat??
It doesn't make sense.
I'm sure there was some parody somewhere, since Henry VIII was so fat, but in what reality would they have painted an official portrait of a king holding a drumstick? Serious question. |

Lots of images may exist but aren't from his lifetime. I don't know where it came from or remember how it was used. I think it was a parody or promotion for something else like an article or a book. |
