User ID: 77354011 United States 11/01/2019 03:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | For those who don't know, the mandela effect here is that many people remember King Henry VIII posing with a turkey leg in a portrait and also remember seeing parodies of him toting the infamous prop as a symbol of his gluttony and excessiveness. Quoting: SoaringHawk The thing is - it never happened and such references do not exist. Who remembers the painting? I got the PB boardgame, Masterpiece, as a Christmas gift when I was young. In that game was a render of Henry Viii holding a Turkey leg. I know this for a fact. My siblings used to tease me about my love for Turkey legs at Thanksgiving. [link to www.google.com (secure)] Just left of Vangough is the Henry Viii. The Turkey leg is gone but his hands are in holding position. damn! I could draw it right now from memory. They feet wide apart, arms out to the side, a hat with a feather plume, the short reddish-brown beard. And there was a drumstick of some kind in his hand. Mouth slightly open. Who says it does not exist any longer? here is a drawing of mine Last Edited by beeches on 11/01/2019 03:58 PM Liberalism is totalitarianism with a human face – Thomas Sowell |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74150735 not necessarily, it could also be that collective memory has been hacked with some new techno BS. that seems more plausible to me than anything else considering the cern psyop and quantum BS in general. Im way beyond the ME themselves though except for the actual physical changes if I see them with my own eyes. logos, spellings, movies, etc. though no longer interest me, Ive accepted that stuff changes quite a bit. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78114566 United Kingdom 11/01/2019 06:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I remember the image. I believe it was a promotion for a PBS series in the seventies. The turkey leg was painted in on a famous portrait. That’s seventies humor. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45275395 A seventies television portrayal of him shows him holding a turkey leg in his hand and biting the meat from it voraciously at a banquet. Turkeys are American birds. Henry would not have had a turkey leg unless someone brought him turkeys from America. |

You see ghosts or you don't. You feel spirits or you don't. You know someone's secrets when near them or touching them or you don't. You believe in a source from which all life comes and returns [call that source God if you wish] or you don't. Either you see and know and it is a part of your normal or it is not. I cannot illustrate our inability to meet somewhere in the middle in any easier way to understand. Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country, don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 77480800 United States 11/01/2019 07:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I remember it clearly, as an Artist my whole life this was one of the paintings I admired a lot, it was the details and realism of the drumstick and how the artist painted it, I often looked closely at the drumstick for inspiration and technique, so yeah it did exist and I remember it clearly, I also remember the jeweled necklace he had on and the crushed velvet black top shirt/coat he was wearing, so much so I can almost recreate it myself. But one of the Mandela effects I know is true, no matter who says what, mirror, it never existed, or whatever your claim against it is, YOU ARE WRONG completely wrong and it DID 100% exist, no matter what you think. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1237564 I studied the drumstick closely and even drew it while looking right at it as reference. I remember the full-color painting myself, but I cannot say if it was from an "official" source. (It may have been a parody, spoof, etc.) |

Im no M.E. denier though, dont see this one but plenty of others and dont care what others think not of them. am more interested in the thoughts of the possible causes from others (admittedly) do see them. |

Being as the Mrs. is visiting her seventy year old retired friends at their river house, I've goose roasting for my lunch, to be served in a mushroom sauce with potatoes and what could best be described as a Mexican vegetable dish. There is no white meat in goose, it's all dark meat, even the breasts. I'll get a few meals out of it, one must make the most of nature's bounty and know there is room for all.
