Is Texas about to legalize Marijuana?

NO, would have heard something if so.

Trump legalizing hemp in a sense already did legalize it.

Cops can't tell the difference so people are carrying around hemp lab reports with their cannabis. Get pulled over, just say it's hemp.

So Texas isn't prosecuting small possession cases anymore. Which should spread to the rest of the US. This is why places like North Carolina are trying to ban hemp flower (which is what I use, I smoke around 1oz a month for the CBD).

Next year will be big, the DEA will be forced to deschedule cannabis and that will open the floodgates. States won't have the excuse anymore to say the DEA isn't allowing them to.

I live in Arizona where medical pot has been legal for a number of years. The 2020 election will have a referendum on legalization and I feel that it will pass. I'm originally from Texas and I would really be surprised if it was legalized, but I have been wrong before and hope to be again. Some people don't fully understand that many, many people use mj for pain control as well as PTSD. It's not just for the fun part of getting high (though that has its place).
