If its not in the transcript, it wasnt part of the conversation. A transcript is word for word. If it was a summary, it would be called a summary.

If I used my content clues and critical thinking skills correctly, it looks like they’re saying he tried to edit the record because the White House edited the transcript first, omitting some info from the transcript that we saw when it was released. Fucking weird strategy to play, true or not.

This is exactly what Nixon tried to do. He finally agreed to release the "transcripts" of the tapes... and had them doctored to hide his guilt.

This all came out when the SCOTUS demanded he hand over his tapes. THIS is what finally caused the GOP senators to tell him to resign. They now had the goods on his crime of obstruction (the coverup).

It remains to be seen if there are enough Republicans with the decency to do the right thing when this finally comes to light.

There can be NO doubt of Trump's intent to commit a high crime against our nation when we find out he doctored the transcripts to hide the evidence of his guilt.
