Late November snowfalls usually melt more quickly than these current October snowfalls. This is more like December snow. Been here 40yrs. MAGA |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54152928 Not this year. Cold! NW US, misery. Most trees hadn't even turned color yet. Hope we get back to what we used to call "normal" soon. Yep, I have snow on the ground. They will be trick or treating in the snow. |

Everything User ID: 77753356 United States 10/31/2019 04:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | People need to check historical lows in the years, not just recent years. They thing my mom remember real well is before I was born in oct. 1950 was the snow storm, two weeks before. That would be early Oct. in the South. So, take this a cold front at that time of year. Also in Sept. from the years of mid '50s it was starting to get cold in the mornings and this was early Sept. So, just because we have had a warming spell for many years does not mean it was he average, from the past. I also have a book that was about in the 1800s temperatures, and it said the average temperatures in my state was in the low 80s all summer long, and in the winter they had blizzards, that was from mid 1800s. They did say one summer after the meteor or some other space rock it did not warm up out of the low 70s and Aug, it warmed well and the crops were wonderful. This was mostly about their farming temperatures. People need to relax a little and plan ahead for anything. Sorry I got a headache These are the times that tries men's and women's souls! May we come though it victorious! |
