Weren't you the vegan who claimed they weren't vegan when losing an argument but who is clearly so malnourished and lacking in brain activity that they must, indeed, be living on nothing but rice, beans, and squash like a picky toddler who doesn't yet understand why a varied diet and nutrients will make him a strong boy?

You two seem like a good match. Both brain dead vegans. Maybe you should hook up. And if it's you - bonus - you don't even have to leave the house to do so.

3 Sisters Gardening was plenty good enough brain food for the Cahokians to have engineered Monks Mound's base from drying out.

"Its foundation was 20 feet high, a rectangular platform of gumbo clay roughly 1,000 feet long and 800 feet wide at the base. By itself, the clay would have been worse than no foundation at all--it shrinks and cracks if allowed to dry out. So the engineer found a way to keep it constantly wet. He had buttresses built at the north and south ends, and filled the space between them with another 40 feet of clay and coarser dirt, layered so as to draw water up from below by capillary action. In the Mississippi River floodplain, where the water table was always high, this would keep the clay foundation saturated and solid. For this process to work, the whole thing had to be planned out ahead of time, and the first 60 feet had to go up right away, says soil chemist, geographer, and archaeologist William Woods of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. "They had to see the end product before they began."

Yes, gardens exist. That does not mean that humans do not venture out beyond them to hunt or herd.

Your entire premise is "people a long time ago had gardens so vegan."

Even my grandmother had a garden. The woman ate plenty of steak. Eating vegetables does not mean that one does not eat meat. Nor does eating meat mean that one does not eat vegetables. Most people have a balanced diet containing both.

In addition, civilizations revolve around more than just one garden. There are multiple people with multiple jobs, tasks, interests, and animals.

Your premise doesn't even make sense.

Eating a balanced diet, including meat, will help with your hormone and sugar levels. This will allow for you to control your anger better. Right now it seems very random and out of control.

When was the last time you were happy without it being about someone else's misery?

And you mentioned that you eat animals so your "brain function" can continue to "thrive"....

1. You do NOT need meat to have healthy brain function. I'm not sure where you get that.... Your body recycles vitamin B12. Usually, you don't even need to consume it because of that.... and if you're talking about fat ofr brain function.... your body produces fat on it's own. You don't need that iether.

2. What about the animal's that you eat brain function? ... AFTER THEY ARE SLAUGHTERED.... THEY HAVE NO BRAIN FUNCTION. WHAT ABOUT THEIR BRAIN FUNCTION?????????????

Every animal dies. Whether it dies alone in the cold, by the claws of a predator, of disease, of age, or by us. Every animals dies.

None of them are immortal.

God, what the hell did they do to your mind?

It hurts you too much to think about reality, doesn't it, my poor baby?

And then they actually told you that your body recycles vitamin B12 so you don't need more? And you were so mentally broken that you believed that?

Damn, they are monsters. They need prison.

You do know that many very inspired, very intelligent people down through the ages were vegans or vegetarians - believe someone posted names in this thread...no meat required for brain development (there now you have my point)

You may want to look into slaughterhouses and the fear that animals can transfer through their flesh and organs as they are viciously killed if you are really interested eating meat that isn't 'diseased'.

It doesn't seem that you want them to live full lives, you just want them to pointlessly die early and out of your view where you don't have to see and for their bodies to be wasted because you are too disconnected from this planet to realize you are a part of the life on it.

What you have isn't care for the animals - or you would take care of them.

What you have is hate for yourself and other people.

Re: Why is GLP, as a whole, majorly afraid of vegans????
Every human, plant, and animal dies. That is the cycle of life and we are not gods who can change that.

The animals I eat live good healthy lives so I know that the meat I am eating is not diseased.

It then dies, as we are all fated to and none of us can escape, and I eat it so that I - and my brain function - may continue to thrive, just as the animal did during its life.

Are you feeling okay? No one has ever really sat down and explained life or nature to you in an honest way, have they?
 Quoting: TlvmmCpoft

You do know that many very inspired, very intelligent people down through the ages were vegans or vegetarians - believe someone posted names in this thread...no meat required for brain development (there now you have my point)

You may want to look into slaughterhouses and the fear that animals can transfer through their flesh and organs as they are viciously killed if you are really interested eating meat that isn't 'diseased'.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76871995

If you mean the ones who died early, who sold doctrines that got millions killed, and who had bizarre thoughts "outside their time" because they were in a nutrient-deprived and deleterious state most of the time, then yes, we know of your vegetarian poets and mad men.

I wish you the best of luck. Be careful in traffic. The cars can't always stop for you.

"It then dies..."

You mean.... "Then someone slaughters it, to sell it..."

It didn't HAVE to die.

It ONLY DIED..... because people like YOU want to EAT IT.

It did NOT live a healthy and full life.

: l

The SHIT you meat eaters MAKE UP to justify the MURDER of animals so you can eat them.

 Quoting: Reilly 77413124

Did you know that they live longer lives on the ranch than in the wild, because on the ranch they are protected?

It doesn't seem that you want them to live full lives, you just want them to pointlessly die early and out of your view where you don't have to see and for their bodies to be wasted because you are too disconnected from this planet to realize you are a part of the life on it.

What you have isn't care for the animals - or you would take care of them.

What you have is hate for yourself and other people.
 Quoting: TlvmmCpoft

Regarding your other stuff you mentioned.....

Those animals are not only murdered, and have their LIVES CUT SHORT....

.... but they are also being held captive.... and ENSLAVED....

FOR THEIR ENTIRE LIVES.

HOW would YOU feel if YOU were in their shoes???!!!!

And THEN.... only taken "care" of.... so you could end up on someone's plate as FOOD????!!!!!!

Is you eating animals more important to you than the lives of the animals you eat?

God, what the hell did they do to your mind?

It hurts you too much to think about reality, doesn't it, my poor baby?

And then they actually told you that your body recycles vitamin B12 so you don't need more? And you were so mentally broken that you believed that?

Damn, they are monsters. They need prison.

The great disservice done to this goof was when someone told him that "thinking" is the same thing as knowing...only it's a lot easier because there isn't any real work involved.

What he "feelz" becomes universal truth...to him. Were there a good way to measure self-absorption this idiot would add a new level to the existing scale. Classic example of "don't confuse me with facts, my mind is made up."

With such a severely limited experiential base it's like trying to explain to an eight year old that thunder isn't really angels bowling.

I think most of us would concede that "factory farming" needs some serious reforms.

Not ALL livestock is raised in inhumane conditions, perhaps you've not ever looked at ethical livestock management. Of course you haven't, what am I thinking, that would require you to actually read, think, and perhaps learn something.

Beyond that? You overgeneralize and solidify your position as one of the most serious dumb fucks on GLP and perhaps even in the general population as a whole.

I've raised and been around farm animals. They were content and happy. The chickens were sweet and cheerful. They were happy to see me every morning. They liked being protected in their coop. They didn't like it when the door got left open one night because our flight was delayed, and without a human to latch it for them, a coyote got five of them and killed them dead with no compassion, ripping them apart in front of their family members. The rest took several days to recover and mourn after that.

The cows played with each other. The kid goats were fun and liked to play with the humans as well as other goats.

I'm sorry you have been so sheltered from what life is actually like outside of the walls you live in to the point in which you think everything humanity creates is a prison. I'm sorry for what your parents did to you. I'm sorry for the abuse by your teachers. They were supposed to protect you like we did for the chickens, not terrorize you like the coyotes did to the chickens. I wish you could have lived a better life. There are good humans out there. Even you can be one of them once you get over your hate for all of us.
