I keep dreaming about a friend who commited suicide, We chat like old times and watch a thunderstorm roll in. It hurts.
Then there are dreams about work which are boring. Other dreams are about a global catastrophe, the normal sorta stuff etc

I can lucid dream no problem, Its mastering the art of the waking life i have trouble with

You and me both lol, it's an enduring grind worse than playing World of Warcraft here... too much greed IMO.

'Not dreaming, but the Mrs. and I have had an odd change in us as the summer progressed.

We can close our eyes and are instantly flying high over the world, our civilization is not there, another is there and we see it in ruins. She sees waves of an earthquake moving across the ground leaving destruction in their wake.

Yet we are aware of our surroundings. We can open our eyes and are here. Close them again and we are flying high over the terrain, a few miles up. I've tried to see what triggers it and have no idea. We can both return to our flight over the world in seconds by closing our eyes and are fully awake while we do so.

It is disconcerting to her. For me it is a return to normalcy and a break from this turgid [from the Latin word turgidus] world we are living in.

Not a lucid dream, but clearly not where our bodies are located while we experience it while fully conscious.

I did the lucid dreaming. I got good but then got freaked out when I awoke in a realm between the waking state and the dreaming state. Very strange, felt like I was playing with fire.

The last lucid dream took me to the future. In the dream our city was invaded by blue helmets and was also rebuilding after the war.
There’s more graphic images in the dream but they wouldn’t be very pretty to post.

I can put a nicotine patch on, leave a movie on the tv, then go to sleep. Pretty soon I'm dreaming by the script, the way my mind interprets it. Wake up tired as hell.

That's very cool, I use my dreams to enter into genres like movies, games, and things that I like. For me, it's what has made dreaming a lot of fun.

I would like to experience lucid dreaming, but there is also something nice about not being in control, letting your subconscious drive the experience. It can be very revealing.

Lucid dreams are dangerous. Even highly experienced people can feel violated or feel like their lives are threatened.

It's not simply based on vibrations (positive energy) or if someone has a negative attitude going into it.

Over time; demons WILL be aware of your presence and will make themselves known. That is their domain, it's where they operate from and "live". Sooner or later; you will have a demonic experience. Especially if you go to the astral travel stage. They use the visions and dreams to further cement your delusions about God and the truth.

This is why the Bible strongly warns against it. It's only acceptable if it's God who brings you into a dream for visions or prophecy.

They should be teaching this to prisoners.

After my last spouse died, I had such intense realistic dreams I was with her in that reality that I would dream that I went to sleep and this other reality was the dream, and then I would really wake up and this reality was so fuzzy at first I just knew I had fallen asleep...

IT WAS CRAZY!!! I have never looked at 'reality' the same since...

Those demons are though forms they feed of negative energy. You can call on jesus, buddha, your higher self or archangel michael. Many astral projectors call on archangel michael. He always has a flaming sword. He will protect you.

Astral projection is a mastering of the sub conscious realms and is easily achieved through self hypnosis. For the novice it can be quite alarming at first as elemental forces persuade the traveler to return. This is similar to a confirmation, whereby your intent outweighs your fear, there is nothing more powerful in the astral than your own free will. The only limitation is that your silver cord is not damaged or severed. For example, it is not prudent to try this if you have a weak heart or BP problems. I have come out with my heart pounding through the sheer exhilaration of the experience.

my last lucid dream was earlier today
i was driving in new jersey and a road crew truck ran thru some cones and intentionally hit the side of my car then took off then came back and took the cones and left again..

the dream seemed like a long time (half a day, there was more before and after the wreck i left out) in dream state but i think it was only really 5 minutes which always throws me off

It's a part of sorcery. The occult practices call for fine tuning your skills in lucid dreaming so you can meet up in the astral plane. The Masons do a lot of work in the astral plane. I followed an occultist who was anti-illuminati and he layed it all out.

The only instance of a lucid dream or astral projection was from Paul where he said the Lord took him out of body.

This guy was a very successful new ager until he had a demonic experience through new age practice. Watch and make up your own mind.

No they are not mere thought forms. They are as if they are actual people; just not physical.

You can call on Jesus and you should. Demons and alien abductions (demonic encounters by another name) all respect and flee from Jesus Christ being evoked. You should consider why that is. And why these channeled beings always attack Christianity and Christ?

Sorry, best to get REM sleep. You need to be sure of this or you will age much faster and heal 75% slower. Only 25% of healing occurs while one is awake.

Sleep needs to be:

-Out and away from the office
-As dark as possible
-Linens as white as possible (simulate heaven)
-white noise or 528hz music playing so you can barely hear it
-if you live in the North, warm your bed with the electric blanket, then shut it down once you go to bed. The EMF that comes off of those is hard core.
-Be in bed by 9pm, try to be sleeping by 10pm. If you stay awake too late, your Adrenalin will kick in (2nd wind) along with a midnight hormone dump that happens every night (HGH, progesterone, cortisol, DHEA, others). This usually keeps people up until 2am to 4am. it also reduces healing greatly, and accelerates aging. In addition, it can effect reproduction.
-before using sleep aids, learn to meditate correctly. I use a simple two step process. Large breath then exhale. While my lungs are out of air, I hold it there as long as I can. Then repeat. Breaking like this creates a sort of vacuum in your system which makes one drowsy. While exhale / hold breathing, force yourself to think of one thing and one thing only, something you LOVE. Not sad, angry, sinful.
-If you get restless arms or legs, simply getup, use two dumbbells and work out your arms, chest and shoulders. if you have a leg / curl extension machine, hit that too. Go back to bed and repeat.
-Eat a small amount of carbs before bed. Not sure why, but this helps one fall to sleep faster. When it comes to carbs, pick your evil. Most are bad for you but I use brown rice, a little agave and cinnamon.
-Never drink caffeine after 6pm.

You should simulate heaven in your room. Indirect lighting, scents, warmth, comfort.

If you want out of body experience dreaming, get written down into the book of life, create a relationship with the holy spirit (Jesus, angels, guardian angle and God). You'll get some dreams then indeed. Over time you will learn to be a seer, healer and a channeler.
