I'm going to comment, because you are a GLP member and not an AC.

I'm really getting sick and tired of so many AC posts, offering nothing but a 'bait' question, and I won't even give those any effort.

However, you automatically get my respect for being a member, therefore, I'll try to answer your question and help this thread to add a little "fuel to the fire" so to speak.

I think your question is: Are these fires being set intentionally, and if so, by whom.

First: We do know for a fact that some fires are set intentionally in a way that is called arson. We also know that most arsonists are never caught. So, we have to make an educated guess. Without a doubt, some of these fires this year, and in past years are arson. The arson investigators can often study where the fire started and determine the cause. But finding who started a fire usually comes down to basic police work.

Second: I think you are also asking, is this a coordinated attack? And if so, by whom? That's a good question, but if you even suggest it could be anything suspicious, you will quickly be labeled a conspiracy theorist and a nut. Don't you know, you are not supposed to ask difficult questions? Maybe we should ban you? Bad boy/girl. Bad!

Third: The California fires would not rip if there was no fuel. The wind is to be expected. But the large amount of fuel (wood, brush, debris) on the ground can be cleared and made more safe. But nooooo.....not in California where the politicians are more concerned about the common field mouse and earth worm than they are about common sense. So, the politicians in California have some responsibility.

Fourth: The Power Companies are responsible for not investing enough over many years because they are private companies more concerned about profits. And to an extent, they have started some fires through neglect.

Fifth: Lighting, campfires, cigarette butts....all the typical culprits come into play too. Remember Smokey the Bear? "Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires".

Finally: You have probably heard about Agenda 2030 and depopulation, and DEW (Directed Energy Weapons) and all that jazz. Maybe...I've seen the videos and heard the rumors. Or, terrorists trying to create havoc in the US? I think if we are going to talk conspiracy, we need to talk about the "Chemtrails" that put aluminum into the soil, and that will burn very hot. Or how Fukashima radiation from Japan can have effects on fires STARTING and burning. Or simply all the possible ways a fire can start in a fire rich environment.

The fact is, forests need to burn. It's a natural part of a forest cycle. But when people build houses in these areas, and then they don't want to clear the land because of mud slides (or to save the owl...or whatever) you end up with a disaster waiting to happen. I honestly don't think there is any big mystery here (although there could be) mostly it's just very poor planning by people.

The best way to solve this problem in California would be to have a fire Purge. Let everyone know that for one month, all the fires can burn freely, all home owner's insurance is cancelled during that time, no firefighting, and let the place burn to the ground. But, that is somewhat politically incorrect, and it could harm Trump's poll ratings. Although letting the place burn is a good idea, it's not a good idea.
What is a good idea is...California votes into office some leadership with half a brain, and starts making some intelligent decisions regarding their future. Since that is not going to happen anytime soon.....it's going to burn!

Did I answer your question?
