Some airlines are phasing theirs out in the name of CO2 and climate change. This is the EL AL final B747 flight from Rome Fiumicino to Tel Aviv. Their second remaining aircraft took passengers back from Bangkok the night before for a final landing at TLV. This flight was a special chartered flight for EL AL frequent flyers to bid seats with frequent flyers points. They also had invited guests, the press and bloggers. No general public on board. I followed the flight live. They started from South East of Cyprus. They feed the proper data to the flight computer and it will draw whatever in the sky. Been done many many times in various occasions. This drawing looks more like an Airbus A380 than a B747. EL AL Every Landing Always Late  I came. I saw. I Concorde. For once you have tasted Concorde you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return.
